Can you tell me about your background and company history?
When I was young, growing up in Brazil, my dad taught me business. He is an incredible businessman who didn't know the meaning of the word “no”. He taught me how to work hard and take advantage of any opportunity coming my way.
I moved to the US when I was 18 and started my first job working at my family's restaurant which was the first Brazilian restaurant in Orlando. There I became good at putting in long shifts and learned hard work pays off. The cleaning business came from my mother’s passion and my brother joined her. He now owns and works with the family on cleaning houses.
I started my cleaning business in 2003, Daher Cleaning Service, in Chattanooga TN, doing entire house cleanings by myself. Eventually I added helpers and kept cleaning and growing my business. And we now offer the same top-quality service to homeowners and businesses in Nashville, TN.

How are estimates for your cleaning services done?
Prospective clients and Mara Daher-Boyer, the owner and service provider of Daher Cleaning Service, meet at the client's home or by phone for a free consultation. During the consultation the following items will be discussed:
We review your household needs and Daher Cleaning Service's policies, services guide, payments, schedules, and answer any questions you might have.
A set of keys will be provided to Daher Cleaning Service upon agreement of services or other arrangements can be discussed.
How long do your cleaning visits last?
Our visits typically last between one and four hours — depending on the size of your household/business and type of cleaning. We can of course plan for longer cleaning times as needed. Please contact Mara Daher-Boyer, Owner at (423) 802-9141 to discuss your specific cleaning needs.
When can we expect your team to arrive at our residence of business?
We give you a set time for your cleaning, with a one-hour variance to allow for traffic and road conditions. However, whenever there is a shift in schedule, based on unforeseen circumstances, we do our best to contact you as soon as possible to update you with the new arrival time.
How can I cancel an appointment if I have an emergency?
Cancellations must be made by phone within 24 hours of the scheduled time or a fee of $25 will apply. Please call (423) 802-9141.
How can I pay for your services?
You may pay online or you can pay by check at your residence or business on the day of the service.
We have pets in the house. Can you clean with them inside?
Our cleaning staff has a plan to follow during each visit. So they can accomplish their plan on time, please keep pets inside a gated area, outside, or have them crated. Thank you.

Yes! Every year Daher Cleaning Service donates our cleaning services at no charge for the ST. JUDE’S HOUSE giveaway held in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. We have been doing this since 2016 to help benefit ST JUDE’S CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL.
